Even though the danger of apostasy has been given, the writer to the Hebrews nevertheless remains positive about them. He desired to see diligence and fruit, confirmation shown in their life that they had a real heavenly hope that lifts us above the miseries of this world. The writer to the Hebrews has been seeking to correct the serious errors of those who have left Judaism for Christianity, but are now looking back to Moses instead.
