The Eldership is responsible for preaching and teaching the word of God faithfully. Sadly today, many churches are run more like a business which seeks to give unregenerate people what they want, rather than calling sinners to repentance and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ and him crucified. Your prayers are needed for ministers of the Gospel to be faithful.

The old Levitical Priesthood had to offer sacrifices for themselves as well as for the people. Jesus has been ordained as the High Priest forever. Naturally you are sinful, but believers are not left to their own devices. 'I will never leave thee nor forsake thee' was not a new promise. Before

Your life should not be about craving for the riches of this world. Now we must note that being rich is not in itself sinful. It is not about how much money you have in the bank, but about the attitude of your heart. Let us back this up with some scripture. Job was the greatest of all men in the east, but he was also very Godly. We are to turn from all that the world offers and see Christ as more excellent.
