The Faith of Isaac

Isaac was not the first born son, the blessings were due to his elder brother Esau, but God's ways are not mans ways. Isaac submitted when Abraham was told to offer him up, and then when he was tricked into blessing Jacob we read that he trembled, but he did not seek vengeance.
