Pilate asked the Lord Jesus Christ, "What is truth?" He thought that he had authority, little realising that one day he would have to stand before Christ the Judge. Truth is the incarnate Lord Jesus Christ. Truth is the word of God. Can truth be seen in your life and is your new life different from your old life? How can you know that you are Christ's? You should be walking as he walked, doing good, that whatever you do will bring glory to God.

The Gospel of Mark ends with the resurrection of Christ and then his commission to the disciples to preach the Gospel. There is a danger of preaching a message that omits the Cross of Christ and the need for repentance.

The disciples did not expect him to rise from the dead. The Lord Jesus Christ had clearly taught that his death would not be the end, that he would rise again the third day, but they did not understand.

Joseph of Arimathaea was a secret disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, but he came out for Christ. What about you, have you come out as a Christian?

At the cross there was a group of women who had ministered to the Lord during his earthly ministry.
