Subjection To Governments

Throughout the Scriptures, we find that the higher powers are used by God to carry out his will. They are wicked but they have been ordained of God. When you submit to them, you are submitting to God. When you resist them, you are resisting God. James said in his epistle that faith without works is dead. Our works, including our subjection to the higher powers, demonstrate our submission to Jesus.
