Christ's eyes pierce to the very depth of our being. He tells us how we really are. Outward appearance may be strength and riches, but what is your reality? What makes a lively church? Being busy is not what pleases the Lord. Real life in the church is inflamed by the faithful preaching of the word. When you first repented and believed, you were filled with love for Christ because he first loved us. In Revelation, Christ's last words are to individuals as well as to churches.
