We're going to consider what a genuine saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ looks like, and we shall see that it is one that is active, it is visible in good works. We will see that faith in Christ is not a matter of the heart, not only a matter of the heart, but it inevitably shows itself in action.

Pure religion is not the means by which we come to Christ, but it is clear evidence that we really do belong to him. To anyone who is not yet trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ, your greatest need is not to become more religious, but to come to Jesus, trusting in his holy perfections and his finished work at the cross, for he alone saves helpless and hopeless sinners.
