The pioneer missionary William Carey famously once said "Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God". We believe that when we come together in corporate worship, that we should have great expectations. However there is a common view today that public worship is primarily for personal blessing.
In contrast, when we read the psalms of David we get an over-riding sense of awe and praise.
We get the strong impression that they went up to the temple that the Lord might be glorified and not for any feel-good factor.
At the same time it is not uncommon to feel good when we worship Him as He has commanded - in Spirit and truth - for He honours those who honour Him.

Our main meetings on the Lord's Day are traditional in that they follow an order of service. We believe that the interests of the congregation are best served by having a pattern and for the most part sticking to it. The services are structured into the following:
The morning service starts at 11:00am and the evening at 6:30pm (Church Hall, Market St, Peel.)
