Outreach and furtherance of the Gospel

Rev Else, Indian church and new pastor Timothy BabuGrace Baptist Church Peel has found itself involved in a number of outreach activities over the decades, some of which the fellowship didn't seek after.

And yet in the Providence of God they have come into being. (see picture)

There is some discussion in churches today about what things a fellowship should and should not be a part of. GBCP takes its scriptural warrant from the epistle general of James 2:18 -
"Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works."

And again from Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

Grace Third World Fund

Through contacts made in India as a result of our Spurgeon Publications ministry (see below) the GTWF (Grace Third World Fund) ultimately came into being. This Manx-registered charity is fully administered by GBCP and provides for orphaned children and those with special and medical needs.

Spurgeon Publications, Isle of Man

This ministry is one of GBCP's oldest continuing outreaches. It seeks to promote spiritual growth in believers wherever in the world they are, through the preached words of C H Spurgeon. It performs a particularly vital work in developing nations where solid Reformed literature is both hard to come by and unaffordable.
