The singing of spiritual songs is something which the Lord's people do, we make melody to the lord. We have thought about being filled with the spirit in contrast with the man who is drunk on wine. Drunkenness often leads to leads to signing, sadly tending to vulgarity. In contrast the Christian's singing is to be edifying. We gather together to sing for each others spiritual benefit.
